The Maharashtra Forest Department has announced a recruitment drive for 2138 vacancies in various posts. The vacancies are for the posts of Stenographer (Higher Grade), Stenographer (Lower Grade), Junior Engineer, Senior Statistical Assistant, Junior Statistical Assistant, Accountant, Surveyor, and Conservator of Forests.
The educational qualifications required for the various posts are as follows:
- Stenographer (Higher Grade): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Stenographer (Lower Grade): 12th pass from a recognized board.
- Junior Engineer: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Senior Statistical Assistant: Graduation in Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized university.
- Junior Statistical Assistant: 12th pass with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized board.
- Accountant: Graduation in Commerce or Accountancy from a recognized university.
- Surveyor: Diploma in Surveying from a recognized institute.
- Conservator of Forests: Post Graduate degree in Forestry or Environmental Science from a recognized university.
The age limit for the various posts is as follows:
- Stenographer (Higher Grade): 18 to 35 years.
- Stenographer (Lower Grade): 18 to 30 years.
- Junior Engineer: 18 to 35 years.
- Senior Statistical Assistant: 18 to 30 years.
- Junior Statistical Assistant: 18 to 28 years.
- Accountant: 18 to 30 years.
- Surveyor: 18 to 30 years.
- Conservator of Forests: 21 to 35 years.
The selection process for the various posts will be as follows:
- Written Test: The written test will be of objective type and will be conducted in two parts. The first part will be of 100 marks and the second part will be of 200 marks.
- Physical Test: The physical test will be conducted for the posts of Stenographer (Higher Grade), Stenographer (Lower Grade), Junior Engineer, and Surveyor.
- Skill Test: The skill test will be conducted for the post of Accountant.
