NEET-UG Exam Postponed in Manipur Due to Law-and-Order Situation, Says NTA

In a recent development, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of the NEET-UG examination, which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, in Manipur. This decision has been taken in view of the ongoing law-and-order situation in the state.

According to the announcement, the candidates who were allotted examination centers in Manipur will now have their exams held at a later date. The NTA has assured that the new date for the examination will be announced soon, and all the concerned candidates will be duly notified.

This decision came after MoS Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh wrote to the NTA, requesting them to explore the possibility of rescheduling the exam, in light of the situation in Manipur. The NTA has taken this step in the interest of the safety and well-being of all the candidates.

NEET-UG is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in India. The exam is conducted by the NTA, and it is usually held once a year. However, due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the exam has been rescheduled multiple times in the past.
