Integral Coach Factory, Chennai Announces 782 Apprentice Vacancies
Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai has announced 782 vacancies for the post of Apprentice under the Apprentices Act 1961. The online application process has started on June 1, 2023 and will close on June 30, 2023.
The eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of ICF, pb.icf.gov.in. The application fee is Rs.100 for General/OBC candidates and Rs.50 for SC/ST candidates.

The educational qualification for the various trades are as follows:
- Carpenter: ITI pass in Carpentry.
- Electrician: ITI pass in Electrical.
- Fitter: ITI pass in Fitting.
- Machinist: ITI pass in Machining.
- Painter: ITI pass in Painting.
- Welder: ITI pass in Welding.
- MLT-Radiology: 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and ITI pass in Medical Laboratory Technology (Radiology).
- MLT-Pathology: 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and ITI pass in Medical Laboratory Technology (Pathology).
- PASAA: 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and ITI pass in Programming and System Administration Assistant.

The age limit for the candidates is between 18 and 30 years as on June 1, 2023. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the ITI examination and trade test.
The selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs.6000/- per month for the first year, Rs.7000/- per month for the second year and Rs.8000/- per month for the third year.
