The Indian Army has invited applications for the 62nd SSC (Tech-Men) and 33rd SSC (Tech-Women) for Defence Personnel. The online application process will start on June 20, 2023 and the last date to apply is July 19, 2023.
There are a total of 196 vacancies available, out of which 61 are for men and 32 are for women. The candidates must be unmarried and have a degree in engineering from a recognized university.
The age limit for the men candidates is 20 to 27 years as on October 1, 2023, and for the women candidates, it is 20 to 25 years as on October 1, 2023.
The selection process will include a written exam, SSB interview, and medical examination. The candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the SSB interview.
The course will commence in April 2024 at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The eligible candidates can apply online through the Indian Army website. The application fee is Rs. 100 for general candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST candidates.
