Job Description:
Border Security Force (BSF) is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to serve as Officers in the organization. As a BSF Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of India’s borders and ensuring the safety of its citizens. Your duties will include monitoring and patrolling the border areas, preventing illegal immigration, and combating cross-border terrorism.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular patrols of the border areas
- Preventing and intercepting illegal immigration
- Combating cross-border terrorism and smuggling
- Conducting intelligence gathering and analysis
- Ensuring the safety and security of citizens living in the border areas
- Maintaining effective communication with other security agencies
- Preparing reports and presenting them to senior officials
- Providing leadership and supervision to junior personnel
Requirements:
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- Physically and mentally fit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments
- Willingness to relocate as per the job requirements
- Candidates with prior experience in the Indian Armed Forces or paramilitary forces will be given preference
